Sustainable Choices

The choices we make as producers and consumers go a long way in determining the future of our oceans tomorrow. Today, half of our seafood comes from farms and will only increase as our population grows. Farmers are raising fish, shrimp and oysters much like traditional farming practices. The ecological impact of fish farming depends on the species chosen, where the sites are located, and how they are raised.

While all of these factors must be part of a Company’s Sustainable Development Plan, first and foremost – we need to be accountable for our own actions.

As a team, we are committed to making choices to alleviate some of the most pressing issues affecting our oceans – including overfishing, illegal and unregulated fishing, habitat damage, by-catch (accidentally catching unwanted species) and poor management practices.

As consumers we make the loudest statement through the products we support and purchase. Buying a traceable seafood product from a Company that is compliant and committed to best practices ensures that you are doing your part to support a sustainable future.
